October 27th, 2010 · No Comments

Charlotte home inspector Preston Sandlin was recently inspecting in Fort Mill SC when he found a hidden roof leak where water was running behind the wall.  This leak was not visable to the naked eye. So how did the home inspector find this hidden leak?  He was using an infrared camera that takes a picture of surface temperatures.  The water running behind this wall was coducting a cooler temperature through the bricks.  The cooler water temperature caused the adjact brick to cool dow as well which created the phot that you.  Home Inspection Carolina can see things not visible to the human eye due to the use of infrared cameras.
