Charlotte Home Inspector Explains Lead Paint

October 12th, 2010 · No Comments

Lead Paint was common in homes from 1950-1980. It was very common before 1950. Lead paint generally is not hazardous unless ingested or airborne particles from sanding are inhaled.  If houses are sold that were built before 1978 a lead based paint flyer should be supplied.  Lead poisioning can cause a myriad of health problems.  For more information about lead based paint go to Ask The Charlotte Inspector.
