Charlotte Home Inspector Reveal a Big Fire Hazzard in the Closet

October 4th, 2010 · No Comments

While inspection a home in Charlotte NC home inspector Preston Sandlin dicovered one of the most common fire hazards there are; pull string lights in a clost.  On pull string lights the lightbulb gets really hot and the string is combustible and you imagine what happs when this combustible string lays up against this hot bulb.  Wht is the solution for this fire hazard?  The string should eith be replaced with a chain or the string should be ran through an eyehook to get the string off of the bulb.
