Carbon Monoxide the Silent Killer

December 16th, 2010 · No Comments

Carbon Monoxide is called the silent killer because you can’t see it or smell it but it inhibits the bloods ability to transport oxygen to the brain.  Over 3800 hundred people die each year in the United States because of CO.  The fist sign is flu-like symptoms to severe headache and drowsiness. Enough exposure can lead to death.  Home Inspection Carolina tests for Carbon Monoxide leaks on all of their inspections.  We recommend testing periodically and having CO detectors.
