Company Formations – Why Getting Help is Best

February 20th, 2012 · No Comments

You’ve invested time, energy, and money into your business and you deserve to have the best success possible with it.  While you’re probably focused on issues like overhead, marketing, and human resources, one issue you should never overlook is that of registering your company through the Companies House.  This allows your business to exist and operate as an entirely separate entity and protects you from legal or financial issues that may arise from it.  While you can technically handle the process of company formations on your own, you’re better off getting help from a third party company that specializes in doing so.  Here’s a look at why.

The first issue that makes getting help with company formations a good idea is simplicity itself.  There are numerous forms that you have to acquire and fill out exactly when going through the process of registering your company, and in many cases the process can be overwhelming.  Mistakes can prolong the process and even cause serious issues later on, so precision is important.  When you use a company that handles the process, they’ll take care of the details so that you don’t have to worry about whether or not you’re making a mistake on any of the forms you’re dealing with.

Another important factor to keep in mind when it comes to company formations is speed.  When you go through the process on your own, not only do you have to fill out the various forms associated with the process by yourself – a process that can not only be stressful, but very time consuming as well – but you also will have a very long wait after you complete the forms and send them in.  In most cases it will take at least four weeks for those forms to be reviewed and for the process to be completed.

Letting a company handle the process electronically will take about twenty four hours, sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less.  And while you can technically go about it electronically yourself, the process involves setting up an account at the Companies House and probably isn’t worth the hassle in the long run.  When you consider these two factors and the fact that it costs less than one hundred pounds to let a professional company handle the process for you, it isn’t hard to see why the vast majority of UK company formation are done electronically with the help of a trustworthy company.
