While inspecting a bathroom in a Charlotte NC Home, Home Inspection Carolina inspector Patrick Waddell noticed that the conector bolt between the toilet and the water closet was rusty and leaking.  What hs happened here is tha the washer has worn away and it has started to leak.  Usually you can notice the rust spots on the floor first where the leak has come off the end of the rusty bolt.  The washer is going to need to be replaced and the bolts if they can’t be salvaged.
