Charlotte Home Inspector Finds Structural Issues

Charlotte Home Inspector Preston Sandlin was inspecting a home in East Charlotte last Friday when he discovered a severe crack on the left side of the house.  This crack was much more than the normal settlement cracking that you always hear about.  The footer here has dropped signifigantly causing cracking at greater than “1 width.  This going to reequire a structural engineer.
