The ever so preferred depiction of mother and child in oil paintings are timeless.  This matter is however the most sought after in terms of buying oil paintings.  Here are some of the monet oil reproductions paintings with the images of motherhood – great gift for any moms out there.

1. Claude Monet’s Poppy Field in Argenteuil, 1873This was taken from true photos from memory.  In this colourful oil painting, the artist, Claude Monet painted his spouse and son strolling together amongst the poppies. 

2. Renoir’s Woman with a Parasol and Small Child on a Sunlit Hillside, 1874This masterpiece depicts a mom calming in the grass whilst her young child wanders off in behind her in the tall grass.

10. Van Gogh’s First  Steps, 1889 to 1890This was painted when Van Gogh was a voluntary patient at the asylum in Saint-Remy.  Whilst in there, he painted twenty one copies of Jean-Franois Millet’s works including Millet’s First Steps to canvas.
